Flint a division of ClearStream is looking Bundle Pullers to operate a diesel-powered aerial bundle puller for the purpose of extracting and installing heat exchanger tube bundles.   This is an expression of interes as we are building our pool of qualified Bundle Pullers for upcoming work. Although our shop is located in Sherwood Park, we welcome applicants from all over to apply!   What you’ll be doing:   - Perform the safe operation of an aerial bundle puller as the manufacture has specified and designed the aerial bundle puller to do so. - General care and maintenance of the bundle puller is critical. This role requires the candidate to perform regular maintenance of the engine, hydraulics, lubrication points, structural integrity, remotes, trollies, electrical harnesses, rigging points, rigging, cleanliness and maintenance/inspection records. - Perform general care and maintenance of the tool truck, tools and equipment used to execute the scope of work. - Communicate with bundle pulling support crew the step by step activities involved in the scope of work. - Study blueprints to determine weights, dimensions, parts, materials, design specifications, testing specifications of heat exchanger. - Plan scope of work in conjunction with client and bundle pulling support crew. - Attach rigging, and signal crane or hoist operators to lift aerial bundle puller and heat exchanger components into place. - Disassemble, repair, and reassemble heat exchanger tube bundles, shell, nozzles and components. Work involves use of hand and power tools and hydraulic driven tooling and equipment, assisting in hydro testing assembled exchangers, and other responsibilities and needed. Reporting to the Area Manager, the District Manager is responsible for safety and profitability of operations within the assigned district. The focus of this position is to meet client commitments and pursue future growth opportunities in the district related to our core Industrial Services business. Services offered include: demand and long-term industrial maintenance support, plant shutdowns and turnarounds, field construction and project management. The District Manager leads the execution of ClearStream’s Industrial Services in the assigned district ensuring alignment with ClearStream policies and procedures and is a role model to field supervision and crews, promoting ClearStream’s values and culture.     You will bring a minimum 5 years’ oil & gas and/or industrial/pipeline contracting service experience in a supervisory/manager role. You will also be a Professional Engineer with preference for mechanical, or; Journeyman Mechanical Trades Certification, or other post-secondary business degree(s).     This is a permanent, salaried position with benefits and paid vacation.      What you’ll be doing: - Provide input for the development of project work and planning. Provide recommendations including the execution of field work and project schedules. Estimators are responsible for assisting in the development of the cost estimates in alignment with our client and project requirements in terms of accuracy, quality, and schedule and represent ClearStream Wear Technologies as a leader in energy and industrial markets.        You will bring a minimum of 5 years’ experience in an estimating role including piping and structural experience. An engineering degree/technical diploma, technologist or experienced trades/welding experience or equivalent combinations of technical training and related experience is preferred.     This is a permanent, salaried position.         What you’ll be doing:    - Review proposal specifications and drawings to determine the scope of work and required content of the estimate.  - Provide input regarding estimating strategies including profitability, risk management, execution strategy, and costs.  - Consult with Operations to ensure labour, equipment and materials reflect current pricing, construction costs and timelines.  - Prepare documentation requests for subcontracts and suppliers, complete analysis of submissions.  - Assist corporate and project management teams in the development of pursuit submissions.  - Other duties as assigned.      We would love to hear from you if you have:   - Able to demonstrate a collaborative attitude in working with members of a team.  - A strong ability to establish priorities and meet deadlines.  - Creating and maintaining accurate and organized documentation.  - Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to liaise with all levels of the organization.  - Strong Multitasking skills while maintaining attention to detail.  - Ability to review and comprehend construction/fabrication drawings.  - Proven ability in using estimating software.  - Knowledge of cost estimating processes and procedures.  - Knowledge of construction and execution methodology.  - Strong organizational and analytical skills.  - Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word.     What We Offer:    - Full insurance and benefits  - Health care/Personal spending account  - Paid vacation  - RRSP (Registered Retirement Savings Plan) matching  - Competitive compensation       Other Details:      This position has been identified as a safety sensitive position and will require completion of drug and alcohol testing.                As a condition of employment, qualified applicants who are offered, and accept the role must complete a satisfactory pre-employment Background Check. We are seeking an Excavator Operator with hotline & integrity dig experience.      This opportunity is a 10/4 schedule starting immediately.
